37 Days On The Eat Stop Eat Program… My Review

Don’t you just hate that there’s so much different information out there on how to lose weight? Who are we supposed to believe?!?

When my friend told me a few months ago that I could lose weight and get in shape by not eating I thought she was crazy! Surely my metabolism would hit rock bottom and I’d gain weight..

A few months ago I was in a big slump of self pity and confusion. I was overweight, sluggish, had bad skin and low confidence. I just couldn’t figure out how to lose weight and be the person that I wanted to be.

I had tried to lose weight by running and swimming and they worked at first but they gradually became less effective and then I gained the weight back.

I tried sitting in a sauna at the gym for as long as I could but I almost fainted and didn’t lose any weight.

I even tried the P90X program but the thing is just too darn intense and after the first session I was puking up everywhere and was left feeling drained. I stuck to it though and by the end of the first month I had spent over $1,000 on equipment, groceries and supplements and I still didn’t see any real results plus I felt drained and half-dead from the workouts.

This was when my friend Jenny stepped in to help me out. Jenny is studying health and fitness at college and she recommended that I stop doing the P90X workouts. She told me that I looked dreadful and that P90X was taking over my life..

It was true, I did look tired and run down and I hadn’t been out since I’d started the P90X because I just didn’t have the energy.

Jenny then told me about something a few of her class mates were using and having good results with called Eat Stop Eat.

Apparently Eat Stop Eat would help me burn fat quickly and easily. It sounded to good to be true but what I was doing clearly wasn’t working so I decided to give my friend and chance got the Eat Stop Eat guide.

So What Is Eat Stop Eat And What Does It Involve?

Basically Eat Stop Eat is all about fasting which is where you go whole days without eating.

Now to be completely honest with you this scared me a little. My first thought was: “There is no way that I’m going to be able to go a whole day without eating.” I thought I would end up with no energy and end up fainting from not eating or something.

But the shocking thing is that since I’ve been following Eat Stop Eat I haven’t fainted and on the days when I’m not eating I actually have more energy and feel better than the days that I do eat!

But Wont Not Eating Cause Your Metabolism To Crash And Make You Gain Weight?

One worry that I had about Eat Stop Eat and not eating was that my metabolism would slow down and I’d gain weight because I’d “learned” in P90X and other places that you need to eat 6 small meals per day or your metabolism will slow down but because of Eat Stop Eat I now know that this information is false. I have lost weight following Eat Stop Eat and I feel great so if anything I would say that my metabolism has increased, which is a good thing.

Is Eat Stop Eat Hard To Follow?

One thing that I hate about P90X and other diets that I’ve tried is that they’re too complicated and expensive. They make you go out and spend lots of money on organic foods, exercise equipment, dietary supplements and multi-vitamins. This just got me thinking about how the diet and weight loss industry are just trying to milk us of our money. I’ve tried all the supplements and they never got me anywhere!

I now realize that to lose weight we don’t need all these expensive foods and supplements because since I’ve been following Eat Stop Eat I haven’t spent any money on supplements, in fact my groceries bill has gone down a lot because of the fasting I’m now buying less food.

I may actually book a vacation with all the money I’m saving!

My Eat Stop Eat Results

Well since I started Eat Stop Eat I have lost weight and I’m more physically toned. I look and feel healthier and my skin is also more clearer and healthier looking which is a bonus.

I have also saved money because I’m no longer buying protein and other supplements.

I feel more confident and just feel happy about being me for once in my life.

I love that I have much more energy than before, especially on the days where I am fasting.

One thing that I love about Eat Stop Eat is that it doesn’t take over your entire life because it’s flexible and easy to do.

It’s not like those other programs where you constantly have to be monitoring your schedule and tracking what you eat all the time. Eat Stop Eat is a great way to burn fat and generally just become a healthier and better looking person.

It’s easy to follow and one thing that I admire about it is that you can read the Eat Stop Eat guide and then get started with it the same day because you don’t need to go out an buy anything else.
