Hey everyone this is just a quick update about how I’ve been getting along with Eat Stop Eat. Well this week I actually feel great. I’m getting ready for a mini marathon tomorrow and have lots of energy so I’m looking forward to it.
In the past the thought of a marathon would have me terrified and I simply wouldn’t even entertain the thought of doing it but now since I’ve lost weight and have more energy I actually want to do it. It’s a nice state of mind to be in and I’m really happy.
It seems that as each day goes by I feel healthier and happier. I woke up this morning with so much energy it’s unbelievable. I used to wake up in the mornings and it would be 20 minutes before I could muster up the energy to get out of bed but these days I wake up and get up straight away and feel great.
One the days that I’m not fasting I like to wake up and have a fruit smoothy and a multivitamin with iron and an Apple. This seems to be a good way to start the day. After that I eat when I get hungry and try to eat something that is healthy and filling. I don’t eat junk food any more but I also don’t count calories. Counting calories is a waste of time in my opinion because it all depends on what you’re eating and if you’re exercising. I mean you could eat a bunch of bad calories and gain weight or your could eat even more good calories from healthy food and lose weight if you’re exercising too. So yeah, I don’t bother with counting calories any more.
The Eat Stop Eat program is definitely something that I intend to follow for the rest of my life. I love it.
